I'm sitting here now waiting to play the second game of this co Ed tournament my team paid $380 to play in. It's now 2:40am and we were scheduled to play the first game at midnight and we didn't end up playing until 1am. The second game was supposed to be played at 2:15 but of course were still waiting.
We got here at 10:30pm to warm up in the batting cages. We warmed up until midnight since that's when we were scheduled to play and then when we were told to wait longer, they closed the batting cage. We had no where to sit and no where to practice.
This is a midnight tournament and I will never play here ever again. How in the heck does a midnight tournament get delayed. This is the most unorganized softball tournament I've ever played in. The umpires aren't doing their jobs as far as getting bats out of the way of home plate. This is dangerous considering we are playing two games next to each other and if a foul ball is hit it has a good chance of going over the tiny divider net and into the game next door.
I'm leaving this review in hopes the owners make sure this never happens again. I won't be coming back...
Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars I would. My son played a Midnight Madness game here a couple weeks ago. First of all I think it's insane to have 11 year old kids play baseball from 9pm til 7am the following day, and that was my first mistake to go. First, parents and anyone watching sit right next to the field, with nothing in front to block them from getting slammed in the face with a ball. No protection, nothing. Secondly, it is literally FREEZING in there. I understand it needing to be cooler in there. But this was uncomfortably cold. WHY play indoors if it's just as cold inside as it was out? It was 2 degrees outside and there's no way it was anymore than 35 inside. So when your stuck in there for 12 hours, it actually hurt we were that cold. The fields weren't that nice either. If you are going to allow children to play here then don't torture them in freezing conditions at 3am, or any time for that matter. It was ridiculous. I would never go...
Read moreVery nice facility. The fields had good grass and we're maintained pretty good. There was a severe lip on the field we were on so bad that a few hard hit ground balls hit and went airborne. They had covered dugouts for the kids. They had 2 food trailers and snack shack for concessions. The down fall for me is we played on awful fields 30 mins from in the net for pool play that didn't even have a home run fence dugouts and were very hard to find a place to watch for the parents. Thee fields at in the net are made so they can play softball/baseball at 46/60, 50/70, and 60/90. Which in turns mean there are temporary fences, rubber mounds, and no scoreboards. The toilets inside the facility were clogged and flooded so everyone had to use the porta pottys. They were full and had no toilet paper that wasn't fun as a dad of a daughter and had many girls/women complaining. The facility gets 5 stars. The fields gets 3.5 Everything else is a 3...
