Dante Fascell Park — Attraction in South Miami

This park is just BREATHE TAKING!! My father used to take me when I was a kid so it's also very nostalgic for me but it has changed quite a bit since then. There are beautiful tasteful sculptures to admire for both young and not so young folks. You can exercise with great equipment they have in the middle of the park for FREE!! There is also volleyball court, basketball court and tennis court but that one is not free. They have lots of little 🐿️ squirrels running around as well HUGE iguanas which always remind of dinosaurs when I see them. The kids have a great little section with an awesome seesaw and a wonderful playground...

Very nice park right off Red Road located conveniently between Coral Gables and Pinecrest in the City of South Miami.

They have clay courts that are well maintained with above ground sprinklers and and just okay hitting wall.

They have beach volleyball courts as well as basketball and nice spongy walking path for the sample sized park.

They have many tennis programs for adults and juniors including private tennis lessons. I didn't see much for adult beginners though.

Went for a birthday party, very nice park, for children and adults. Well maintained, clean. Bathrooms didn't have toilet paper so keep that in mind. Parking is a bit small and far from park area, but we found a spot with no problem (Saturday afternoon, no special events).
