Today, 07/06/2025 I parked on public shore parking lot (address: 1 DNA WAY #24, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO) and got ticket from Genentech Security. My violations were: missing permit and not registered vehicle. I called the security and asked what is the reason for the ticket. The answer was: now you know there is Genentech`s property. I know that on The City meeting board (06/30/2025) was decided to sell portions public roads (DNA Way and Point San Bruno Blvd) to Genentech. My question is will public get an access to park in the area...

The fishing is totally awesome here. It's a gorgeous spot. Beautiful view of the bay. Nice bicycle trail. Clean picnic tables and newer benches for viewing. Good access to the water. Seals and Otters swimming. There are some Sharks as some of the guys caught a few. 1 Leopard shark was nearly 4 foot long. The only thing missing is a nearby public restroom. The presence of the genetics lab near by is a little unsettling. Especially when you are there alone after dark. Hopefully the scuttling noises are...

Part of my regular running route. I love this part of the Bay shore. Can be accessed by the public parking lot near the Genentech entrance. Plenty of available parking spots. Bay trail access. Walk or bike. If you walk, know that not all cyclists are skillful or give warning. If you cycle, be aware that some walkers have hearing loss or can't respond quickly. You can watch planes take off from airport.

Nice little break point along the San Francisco Bay Trail. You can find some nice views of the bay down DNA Way - see picture.
