I wish I could give 0 stars, I have a little story to tell everyone that's interested in joining this "cult". I started this program in June of 2023, was desperate to find something that I would probably enjoy doing it. I just googled it create a profile and see where it would go. Not long after I received quite a few calls, to apply to the program. I was peer pressured to starting the program. Grants and loans were taken after I was told the "government" would be paying for my program. (Found out recently, after I looked at my credit). Upon finishing the course it self I was found a place to do externship which is required to finish the program. Went to the interview to be told by the doctor " I will not hire you, but we need people here" (FREE LABOR) Told my teacher she found me a new site, 2 weeks in externship I was told by one of the MA's the school had called and asked me to go home. They told the clinic I was at I wasn't going back, I started panicking called the school to find out through the DEAN that I had failed a course last year before October. So technically they waited to find out about this? They don't check students grade before going out? (Although I had checked and there was no bad grade) So I have to wait until the middle of the year to retake the course "I failed" and go on externship again. The whole thing is a mess, and there's no ACCOUNTABILITY...

I wanna make a review but prior experience like 4 yrs ago from this school was very unpleasant, first of they hired a doctor not a teacher and that was my experience and decided not to go w it when pandemic hit, 4 years counting I’ve never recieve any update from when I stopped from school , I just don’t wanna pay the whole course when I know that when the pandemic hit this school was asked to close down . I’ve contacted them this morning let’s see how they would react to this this. I’m having this check as well hopefully this school would contact me soon, as the previous 1 reviews says that the internship non paid yes it’s true and no way ou would be able to that nowadays the teacher we had couldn’t just understand not all have a way on that that’s y I stopped an on top of this sexual harassment training regarding dealing w LGBTQi students should also be prioritize. I was treated badly by that teacher up to this day I’m happy that some of my colleagues noticed it too . This is California not the Philippines leave that hypocrisy and bigotry out of our school system not all are same w you and your beliefs do not apply that to everyone especially if you work in a school here in CA. Overall Unitek college was a great experience for me. Both of my teachers were there for me and answered emails in a timely manner. I don’t think I would’ve gone to the school because I do live about two hours away but Futuro health paid for it that’s why I went here. I believe everything went smoothly just until the end with my externship I had a place in mind and my coordinator basically just told me to take the first externship she chose me. It took us a while because she is not from the state and everything that she was looking was about three hours away from where I currently live. If there is one thing I could probably change from this place it would be to make it more of a in person learning because everything was pretty much on the computer except for labs one day every two weeks I did feel like I learned but I feel like I would’ve learned more if there was more in person learning then over the computer. I do feel like some teachers don’t really pay attention to the stuff because there were some places that I would leave blank and I would still get 100% on them. Overall I do recommend the school but I do feel like they are some areas it can get...
