Incredibly lovely and fantastically remotely picnic area at the northern end of the forest. Would be perfect for a small family reunion with less small children. If other people aren't your thing such as myself, this entire forest area is quite wonderful. Can't comment on the ATV trails, but I will say the trail parking lots are perfect for stargazing! Even more spots if you aren't afraid to hike off trail. Although at Martin Hill lot campsite, I was politely growled at by what sounded very close, four legged, furry, and impatient to get on with her dinner plans for the evening.
