I wanted to find a place a short distance from the lake and get a bit of walking done and enjoy the lake view. However, I didn't want to wander alone in the forest for too long, not being so familiar with the area, so I drove to the N White Chapel Trailhead.
Parking is free but small. There were only three cars so there was room to park when I arrived.
Since I heard children's voices echoing from the direction of the lake, I ventured out towards it and found a group of young people and adults in the lake enjoying themselves.

Heading east gives you the opportunity to walk along the shore, or take the teail that runs parallel to it.
