Hendricks Head Light is a lighthouse in Southport, Maine marking the west side of the mouth of the Sheepscot River. The light station was established in 1829, and its present structures date to 1875. It was deactivated in 1933, but relit in 1951. The two-story wood keeper's house is now a private summer residence.

Traveler BEWARE, as many have posted in the reviews here, this lighthouse is on private land. I tried to quickly get some nice photos, while being respectful of the owners. You can also see this beautiful lighthouse by boat. There is a small, and I do mean small, beach that is open to the public near the lighthouse, but unless you go out by boat, or get a drone in the air, it not very visible.

Beautiful lighthouse, but inaccessible. Maps makes it look like you can drive to it, but the lighthouse is on private property. Parking is available at a small cove with beach access, with the lighthouse in distant view. So bring a long lens!
