Copper Cat Studio — Attraction in Sparks

I have yet to take a class here (but can’t wait to!), so this review is for the wide array of materials for aspiring home mosaicists, the lovely gift shop showcasing local artists’ goods, and the incredible kindness and generosity of the owner, Katie. I had endeavored to do a diy mosaic (a la Pinterest) on my wall, but was dismayed by the monochrome tile offerings at the local hardware and big box stores. I found Copper Cat Studio online and called to inquire about their tile selection. Katie answered and, after getting a few details about my project, urged me to come over so she could offer some guidance. And offer it she did! Even though her studio had closed 10 min earlier, Katie walked me through all sorts of details I had failed to consider. For 30 minutes she pulled out books, showed me project inspiration, and just genuinely cared about my looming Pinterest-fail!
