Visited this location on Tuesday evening with my spouse. My experience at this location was awful. The server was completely unprofessional, he was not courteous when we walked in (which was no big deal) but the way he was handling our food was not acceptable. I ordered the sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub which turned out terrible. He was slamming things such as the toaster when I asked for my sub to be toasted and and getting mad when I asked him not to contaminate my order with an online order (had fish which am allergic to) which he was serving simultaneously with mine. When I asked for mayo he aggressively slammed the bottle on the counter severally but the bottle was empty, he then proceeded to THROW THE BOTTLE ON THE FLOOR. When my spouse asked for mayo, the server went to the back to get a new bag, instead of transferring the mayo to the bottle he proceeded to pour it straight from the bag and when too much of it fell on my spouses sub he scooped it with HIS HANDS and THREW IT ON THE COUNTER. With the same hands covered in mayo, he continue to wrap the sub making the whole order messy. Read moreThis Subway location is the best of all Subways in the Sparks and Sun Valley Areas. The shop is immaculately clean. The food is always fresh. This location honors most or all Subway National promotional offers, such as Bogo's or % off. Some stores in Sparks won't honor those offers. I always deal with one man there, as I always seem to order during his shift. He makes excellent sandwiches. I pre-order online with many customizations on 4-5 persons orders. He has never missed any change I've asked for. Every sandwich is made exactly as ordered. My orders are always ready on time. I haven't ever had to wait. I feel like it's my own personal Subway store. It's perfect.
This is an update to my previous review. This store no longer honors the national deal offers or coupons as they'd done before. The man who made the perfect orders every time has moved on. My recent orders were not exactly correct. Wrong veggie changes were made but on the wrong sandwich, messing up two in the order. I've had to wait for my order when I pre-ordered online. Read moreGive this place a break, the owner has too many locations to put energy into any of them. You have to understand the mood of an employee that is basically told by their boss "I am going to provide the bare minimum to make your job functional, and I'm going to underpay you to do that job". It creates a domino effect of negative work-energy that trickles down to everything from the meat and cheese to the employees themselves. You can say "if you dont like it get another job", but it isnt that easy. Some of these people barely make enough to survive, and this job is draining, and they dont have the energy or the time with kids and a small apartment to look for a better job. Especially when their resume says "Subway", they know it's hard getting something better. They would end up at another place just like this, just to be treated the same by someone else.
If you honestly have a problem with the service here, I suggest you go somewhere they pay their employees to be happy, not somewhere they pay them to be miserable. You're the one without perspective.
