Piedmont Interstate Fair — Attraction in Spartanburg

Adding a star because the staff was very friendly. First, this location is in the middle of a very low income area. I'm glad I was going to a gun show and was armed. Andi realize that the show was put on by Great American Promotions, but that was the worst gun and knife show I've ever attended. I've seen more displays in a church dining room than were in this place. I'm not even going into the prices of the vendors, but the show space was so small, there wasn't much to see because the vendors had little room, and there was little room to walk around. Neighborhood yard sales had more tables than they did. There were even a few vendors but even in the firearms market, I guess they were just happy to sell the tables. I was so frustrated, I even spent time in the parking lot trying to turn people away. GAP...

Lots of fun but soooo pricey! Good Lord do you burn thru cash there!

My wife and I went on as many rides as $50 would get us, but it didn't like very many.

There were a LOT of food vendors, which is great. You'll definitely find something to eat there, and in almost any category you can think of: pizza, chicken, BBQ, pork chops, etc. I was truly surprised how many vendors there were, and how many of them I was tempted to eat at.

A big disappointment was just how slow moving the line for the ferris wheel. We had to simple bail after waiting a long time. And the line stayed long all night. Still tons of fun on the rides we were...

Had a nice time with the family. The new outfit running the rides this year was quite a surprise. Everything looked so fresh and bright. Unlike the other people who used to do the fair. All that stuff look like it was in need of repair or painting. Great job this year Piedmont Interstate Fair committee. The only downside I could find is most of the little gift booths all carrying the same merchandise. Not much Variety in that aspect. And I know the food vendors are there to make money but their prices are a bit ridiculous. In my opinion if they lower the prices they will sell more food but that's just one...
