06/13/2013 update Our first visit of the season --- so we were scoping it out.
We'll be back over the course of the next few months to partake of the local goodies!

Love buying local --- supporting local, small businesses.
Walked there from near downtown -- maybe 20 minutes or so. Even on a warm summer morning, it wasn't too bad.
It was my first time at this location --- and loved the offerings.
Fruits and veggies. 🍎🍑🍅 Fresh cut flowers. 💐 Breads. 🍞 ...a plethora of items!
Shoot, I believe today one could even go home with an adopted kitten!😸

Read moreGreat mix of vendors. The woman that made the soap, she definitely will get more business from me and my friends. The cheese guy from Anderson, OMG, smoked gouda with bacon, be still my heart. But without question, my favorite Vendor is the mushroom booth. They had Oyster mushrooms, blue oyster mushrooms, they even grow chanterells, just did not bring them. They are all sustainably grown, as my husband calls them poop free. This markets items was not overpriced, there was plenty of parking, a food truck if lunch was on your mind, plenty of shady spots, live music and even clean bathrooms....
Read moreI cannot say enough amazing things about Hub City Farmer's Market! The farmers are so kind and will tell you all about their growing practices when asked. There are quite a few chemical free farms there as well.
