I had a great time. I got to see performances and activities that aren't at the other ren faires. There were an insane amount of vendors and the food selection was great. Loved the idea of quests and a tea party. My only qualm was parking. The faire had a map on their website of public parking but that was quickly overwhelmed. They should take a page from Mythical and Medieval Fest and have some big parking lots like at a school or mowed field be alternative parking with shuttle busses that do regular rounds. I saw there's an app where you can request a bus but I'm assuming that's the towns public transit system and that would have been overwhelmed too. I'd be willing to pay a couple of dollars for a wrist band or something if I had to for unlimited bus rides. Other than that I had a grand time. I can't wait...
Read moreone star... during a sword give away a drunk (yes so much so i could smell it on his breath) pirate was clearing the walkway. While most of my friends were staying I intended to move on and was talking with them about it. Even having one foot on the path and one off but it wasnt good enough for said drunken pirate who didnt even give me 20 seconds before he was back in my face and actually cussing and threatening me andcwithbyoung children in my party. Even telling him to just give me a minute he got uglier. At this point I too became rude and he just called the cops over on me. He cane very close to getting popped in the mouth.
ALL of this couldve been avoided if he had just given me the time for a short conversation.
Rude, mouthy drunk pirates will not win...
