Mukogawa U.S. Campus — Attraction in Spokane

Mukogawa is a Japanese English learning institute. Interesting items on the campus are the Japanese Culture Center and a small museum for when the campus was an old army station. The buildings are old renovated Army buildings that were built in the late 1800's. Also of interest are the wonderful old chapels to get married in and a Commons hall that can be used for wedding reception, etc. Contact the Institute for times and information, if interested in seeing the place. We attended a wedding & reception here in March. The Chapel was charming and the surrounding buildings were lovely.

The hall, where the reception was located, was short on parking, but thankfully close enough that most people just walked over from the wedding chapel. It had a nice, large main area, however, and a decent amount of restrooms, to accommodate the crowd.

Decided to take our dog Harvey for a walk. I love Mukogawa. The grounds are beautiful, sometimes the Japanese squirrels will come up to you, and it is just a beautiful place with an amazing history. They are also a very reasonably priced wedding venue where you can choose to get married in one of their rooms, outside in the pergola, or in one of their historic chapels.
