My friend who brought me kayaking says the input to the lake used to be a lot nicer and looked like most of it had washed away, there was very little room to launch from and made landing difficult for. I hope y'all are able to refresh that part soon as it makes launching and landing very difficult. But otherwise, it's absolutely gorgeous there! It was a great place to be a newbie on the water! It looked like a great place for families since there were a bunch on the main dock and shored areas. I can't wait to go back. Honestly 5 stars.

I enjoyed it. There were so few people there that I didn't have to wear a mask....we could stay 6' apart. It was a beautiful day.

A woman was blasting music in the area of the Legacy garden while she was working out for 40 minutes at Glenwood Gardens this evening. I could hear it all the way at the .4 mile marker on the paved trail. Other people looked agitated by the noise too as they walked by. Earlier this year there were teenagers smoking and playing music at the first overlook at the Gorge trail. I'm sensitive to smoke and not good for the health of the wildlife either. My peace was greatly disrupted both times. I really feel it would benefit the peace of everyone and make sure all rules and laws are being followed if there was a park ranger at Glenwood Gardens seeing how things are going near the top of the park down to the Legacy Garden at sunset time and Sharon Woods specifically checking the first overlook at the Gorge trail area. I think there are more people unhappy then it seems an they may not have the time to leave a review. Any consideration of these suggestions and positive changes made would be greatly appreciated. Everyone deserves to feel relaxed and safe every walk they take in the Great...

So on Wednesday June 25 I got a phone call about my reservation for my shelter at woodland mounds park on the 29th. And I told that the park was full and the there only 18 parking places at my shelter. And that we can't park in the grass . Which has never been a problem for us.But it's ok other people to park in my shelter parking lot for fishing. You know I have rented this shelter for last 7 yrs. This first phone call ever. And she lied to me. Because the shelter next to us was not rented. So was not full. By the way if I happen to to one of your gold courses and people parked the grass. I will be calling you . I paid $185 to the site. Also the shelter was cleaned . 3 trash cans empty. 1 trash by the parking lot was not and the 2 recycling cans were half full. It's was blowned out . I will spend money at another place. Not at The not so great parks. I have worked at 2 parks on Sharon woods and...

This park is supposed to save and care for wildlife. But it's all a lie. The other day there was a turtle crossing winton. There was a nice girl that tried to stop traffic to save the turtle. I tried to take responsibility by informing the park ticket booth man that there is a turtle that needs to be saved. the man said okay ill take care of it. ill call someone to help. the next the poor turtle was DEAD!!! The turtle was NOT saved and the park took no responsibility. How does the park save wildlife? The turtle died because no one took responsibility! the park employees do nothing to...
