Great park! We stopped in with my grandkids to play for awhile. The kids had fun and got nice and worn out for the trip back home. Such a spacious park too. We played on the bigger park because we were afraid our 2 special needs kids would want to play on the splash pad. We even took a little walk down to the stage and into the little area of trees. My one suggestion would be that they put a gate on the fenced area around the playground. With 2 special needs kids, one whom still wanders. It is so much easier to keep them safe when there is a gate. Some might say, well keep an eye on them! Well, that's easier said than done. When you are Dad, grandma and great grandma, all with physical disabilities it is hard to keep up with 5 kids! They are so fast! Read moreBeautiful park that is exceptionally maintained by the City of Ontario. From spring thru fall, this park is full of soccer, baseball, softball, tennis and basketball games. A disc golf course is used year around and winds through the woods. There is also a dog park, horse shoes and sand volleyball. Parking is plentiful and the restrooms are very clean. Pavilions several pavilions are available as well as playing equipment throughout the park. Smaller kids enjoy the fenced in playground which has a maze of fun options. Read moreI wish they could upgrade it. Replace the gravel and mulch with the pads and pt in some new equipment. Sadly, it's more worth the drive to go to Galion to their new park located at Heiss Park. Or even Mt. Vernon formally known as Memorial Park now called Melody Park. So much more for the kids to do. Walk on merry go round, jungle gym, swings, (several in a row) plus the padded surface is awesome for kids and the adults.... especially us grandparents...
