Allora Vineyards — Attraction in St. Helena

Its really unfortunate that I have to write a bad review. especially considering its a small family owned business. Although my birthday visit was pleasant, I was extremely disrespected by one of the sisters (employee) after calling to fix what I thought was a simple mistake. They used my credit card information from an individual wine purchase to pay for another persons transaction without confirming the authorization with me. When I called to ask about fixing this $754.00 transaction she disregarded it, raised her voice to yell as if I did something wrong and then she hung up the phone on me without resolving the issue. I've never experienced this level of unprofessionalism before from a business. My information was taken and illegally used. Absolutely unacceptable.

I also purchased a bottle of wine for my parents and it was never received or shipped. Things happen, I totally understand that. But when there is no responsibility taken and pure disrespect that is projected on to a customer that's simply trying to resolve an issue ...that just shows the character of their business. I strongly strongly would not recommend this winery. I visited a couple others in Napa that were super fun, beautiful vineyards, and most importantly honored the integrity of their business and treated their customers...

Best wines I had after visiting vineyards and wineries for 3 days straight. Best wine tasting I've ever had in my life. Terry invites you on his property for a one on one tasting in his personal wine library. I've never felt more relaxed, more at home, and more inclined to buy so much wine in my life. Even took the time after the tasting to share some life knowledge with my girlfriend and I. Truly an amazing man with some of the best wine I think ill ever have. Wow - just incredible. The grounds were perfect, the Klien family was warm, friendly and accommodating, and the wine - best kept secret in St. Helena!

One of the best small batch winery we've ever tried. The jokes about the big, corporate vineyards will have you rolling... Terry tells some great tales - ask him about their contribution to "Big Eyes" the movie and Amy Adams!

Just go visit and bring home Lusso (the flagship Cabernet) - you'll love pulling out a bottle with friends and telling the story...
