FRI 2025.10.17 ~06:50 arrived at the Day Use - Beach parking . After a few minutes enjoying the dawn lighting and views, Abby and i went for a ~6+ miles walk, CW-Loop going around JWSP; the trails and roads. The trails were in good condition. And i noticed there was a man walking with his dog. The Marina was a beauty; where i chanced met Rob from Florida; he's boating the "East Coast Loop"trails👍🙃 We had a nice long "everything under the sun" conversation .. which brightened up my day, i hope for Rob too 🙃 Time passed quickly, we bid goodbyes .. ..

One of my favorite places to set up my portable ham radio equipment and enjoy nature. Put my boat in here a lot to go fishing as well. Nice, new ramps with more than adequate parking.

Great place to take the family and have a picnic by the water. Love the new pavilion they built to replace the one taken by tornado.

New year and worse than ever. How they can charge to use this sespool is insane. Water is full of logs. Beach full of trash. The place smells so bad I couldn't even stay. This is just unreal. It's a park. It's not safe for swimming, and the beach has questionable trash like diapers, glass, and sharp metal shredded cans due to lazy groundskeepers. It was bad last year. This year, it is way way way worse. You should be ashamed of yourself. I bet the ranger always sitting up on the hill has time to write tickets. Clearly, nobody has time to clean.

I have left several reviews, and obviously, they keep taking them down. Same issue, super aggressive rangers. Trashed beach. Literally, diapers, bottles, kids' accessories bags, and tags all over. The facility is clean each time I have gone in. Lots of debris in the water. Glass, caps, seaweed, logs, shirts, again with the diapers, and anything you can imagine is on the beach and in the water. Raging rangers are all about harassing you. But certainly do nothing about people littering. We the people are going to correct your stance as tyrant as well. You work for us, start giving us some respect. We are not your revenue machines. We already pay for everything in the park,...

We went there the 4th of July and the park guards there were very racist, they were really rude to us and to other people there, and they were yelling the whole time. They were checking peoples bags and coolers inside of the beach area and just so you know there is no music allowed at all. When we were going out they had a checkpoint inside of the park checking for driver’s license just to the people they wanted...
