We camped in A13 on a perfect Nov weekend. We prefer wooded campsites so after reading other reviews of the tornado damage to B and C, we chose A to have more tree coverage and be closer to the playground and trail. The playground is very old but my kids still loved it and played it on it multiple times. My one complaint is the bathhouse. Traveling with preschoolers, we always try to camp within short walking distance of the bathhouse for showers and potty. The bathhouse was very clean, however there was zero hot water and no hand soap at all. Signs pointed out the no hot water but not knowing a head of time it was a huge deal for us to haul two small kids to the bathhouses elsewhere. We will definitely be back in the future and hopefully the bathhouse in A...

Campground B loop, site 34. We got here at the days end, too dark for a pic. Registration was seemless, very nicely done, B loop appears to be either brand spanking new or rebuilt over the winter. Very nice.

Went to the restaurant at the Lodge, poorly marked, had to go inside to verify the restaurant was in the Lodge. No signage.

Only offering was the buffet line, no prices marked, $26 each. Buffet was OK, not exceptional, dessert apple cobler which was quite good.

Sorry, restaurant is not recommended. If it were $12-15 maybe. $26 is price gouging.

Especially considering as far as I could tell, and admittedly we were tired from driving all day, had no idea how much until we got the bill.

Yes I agree I should have asked. No we did not complain and yes...

Stayed in the primitive camping area for 2 nights. Nice, clean, and quiet... for the most part.

This is all from our stay.. Experiences may vary:

Quite a few piles of dog feces scattered around the primitive boat launch making bank fishing a mine field.

1 group of campers kept blasting their music well passed curfew.

1 instance of a drunk elderly gentleman yelling profanities at his child upwards of 30minutes. Security not so swiftly took care of the matter but no further instances arose.

If they (hosts/security) were more strict in enforcing rules, it can definitely be a better place.

Also, regarding the on site bathrooms. The lights are automatic, so if your doing the deed, the lights will go off and your...
