Excellent spot for train watching. I saw a Norfolk Southern train, and 10 minutes later, a CSX train. However, the museum was closed, although the Engine and Caboose were available to look at.

I wish we would have got the name of the gentleman at the desk. He was super nice and helpful. Getting to see some trains pass so close while we were there was super cool too.

Wonderful road trip pit stop! It’s a step back in time. Nice place to explore, family friendly, great preservation of history. Charming old town

They are never open. Come down here multiple times from Chattanooga. Over an hour's drive. Talked to the lady who runs the joint and was told they would be open. Came down when I was told they would be open. They were not open. Lied straight to our faces. Hours monday- Friday 8-330 isn't true. Nice place to watch trains but don't expect to be able to go inside to look at all the historical information. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this place. Look it's not worth my gas and time to come down here. Especially when I was told to come down when they would be open. I feel as if I should be reimbursed for my gas I spent coming down here. I'd just as soon go to the cowand where I can atleast go inside and look around. These people lied straight...

Was so looking forward to this as we love history and wanted to see and learn more here, but it was not to be. No one there; everything locked up on a Wednesday at 2 p.m. Called the phone number and got VM, left a message. Total...
