Anyways staff are nice they clean the restrooms very 30mins they have lifeguards on duty from when they open until 5:30pm the lake closes . The park itself closes much later, I would say 8ish. They have so many picnic tables with grills throughout the lake, which is always a plus. You can fish off the docks. You can kayak in this lake. They also have 2 playground for the kids . Read moreI fish on Swartswood Lake from time to time. It's a good fishery, and holds both largemouth and smallmouth bass, along with other species. There are lily pads for frogging, some good weed beds and some nice dropoffs. The downsides are parking, which is terrible when you are pulling a boat trailer, and the ramp itself. The ramp will only handle one boat, and tends to be very slippery. Summary: it's worth a visit to fish, but get there early...
