Fort Point lighthouses located in Fort Point State Park. The lighthouse is definitely in need of some TLC in the forms of paint and basic maintenance. The sign on the door says it's a private residence so you can walk around but not see anything inside. One of the interesting things was it has to outbuilding that was a bell tower that is one of only a few left in the United States. Since this is a state park there is a fee that you must pay.

Beautiful little Lighthouse right on the coast. Be respectful, owners on site. This Lighthouse is situated on the edge of a state park and can be viewed by two sides. Small parking lot at the start of the driveway with a small payment box. Entrance fee is just a few bucks. I am not a Maine resident so I had to pay $4.00.

Nice to explore this state park, though the lighthouse is privately owned. So I felt like I was trespassing, but we weren't. Beautiful vista and my first Fog Bell Tower!! Interesting part of history and warning the ships of yesteryears. Awesome spot with trails and another parking lot.

I live near Fort Point Park and Lighthouse and frequently come here to walk my dog. Wide open spaces, woodsy trails, access to the beach, picnic tables with grills, scenic views, wildlife, and more! I have an annual park pass so I don't need to pay but the fee is nominal. Plenty of parking, close by all the features. Public...
