Not a huge hiking experience unless you go to the extending trails, but beautiful nonetheless. Easy little hike on either side. The more southern trail(.4mi.) starts with an access road and goes up along a beautiful grassy farmland, then connects to a foot path to the tower. The straight up path(.2mi.) Read moreThis was a short easy hike to do. The trail had some washouts and a little mud but other than that it's an easy and worth while hike. There is a nice view over a field about half way up. The top of the mountain has the fire tower which only goes up 2 flights of stairs but you get incredible panoramic views. The tower is surrounded by wild blueberry bushes and the berries are delicious. This hike is kid friendly but make sure you get there early as the parking lot is small.
