Paddle Boston: Stoneham Spot Pond — Attraction in Stoneham

They have a Groupon promotion right now that's completely unusable. Only in the fine print at the very very bottom underneath age restriction information does it say that it only applies to weekday rentals. I understand if that's the policy, but the vast majority of companies will make that information more clear to the consumer. But what really annoys me is that the boating isn't even open on the weekdays right now. It's a pass that physically cannot be used for over a month. I think that's terrible deceptive marketing. And when they finally do open on weekdays, it'll be from 10-5, precluding most working people from...

Awesome time!!! So much fun with my son just on a whim, just driving by and said you wanna go kayaking for a couple hours and off we went. This place is so convenient, and yet so close to home. I mean really does it get any better or easier to just get out and do something fun that doesnt cost a lot and your not looking at a screen. This is that place where you can take the kids in the middle of the week right after dinner and hop in a kayak for an hour or two, you won't regret...

This review is written during the COVID-19 pandemic (August 2020). The safety precautions Boating in Boston at Spot Pond took to ensure our wellbeing and have as little interaction with other customers was impressive. This place has a great plan in place and I felt very comfortable signing in and getting my reserved kayak so I could enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon at Spot Pond.
