This was a neat small hike and waterfall! The hike itself is maybe 1/4 mile to the falls. You do come to a fence, and need to take a right continue down a bit longer in order to get to the bottom of the falls. If you left, it will take you to the top of the falls. There weren't any signs pointing directions. Worth it to go to the bottom of the falls! At the end of the path, you can see the falls from the path, however if you feel comfortable climbing, you can climb on the rocks and go into the water at the bottom of the falls. Rocks can be slippery though and watch the flow of the river. It also does take a little bit of rock climbing to get down. There is no flat way to get to the water. We were able to take our shoes off and put our feet in. Had the falls to ourselves for over an hour, enjoyed spending time sitting on the rocks and just watching the water flow. We went early morning during the week, probably around 8 or 9. As we were leaving, it started to get a bit busier. I would say in the two hours we were out there, we saw maybe three other families/couples. Really enjoyed hiking and seeing these beautiful falls.

And a side note, there were hardly any bugs! I just found this incredibly fascinating and amazing! Maybe because the area I normally live in, is mosquito central, but being out on a hike in the woods without a ton of mosquitoes is just beyond brilliant! And we went in the...

Did not like the trail. Tried the Falls (which are about 4-5 ft of water falling... nothing to like there either). Another major issue has been infestation with gnats-like and mosquitos (but no flies).... they will get into your nostrils, ears, and/or mouth (if talking). Around this area, it has been a disappointment for hiking. Trails are not or (at best) poorly designated when driving along 108. Then, while on the trails, many times you may become lost because of lack of signs at splits. The paper maps are a joke too (same trail name, like "Long Trail", can be started at 2 locations along 108 (again, poorly designated). All in all, it is a beautiful area, but unorganized and inconvenienced by the local (or state) authorities. Last, do not follow the speed limits as the roads are horrible...

a place that might get packed easily depending on the day and weather..i went there on a very hot day, the water was cool. parking is free alongside the road, u walk 5-10minutes to see the falls.. u can go jumping from the rocks or go swimming..the water was cold when we went there even though it was a very sunny day.. there were a lottt of people and kids, since there was a soccer match that day..it was on a saturday, was too overcrowded.. when you get there,u can see immediately the first water hole where u can get to swim, and enjoy the water, if u walk down further u can see the waterfalls, a lot of rocks, so u can jump into the water..(but just be careful) overall there’s not really a lot of place u can swim,u can enjoy the sun or have a nice view.. but yep can get...

If you wanna go to the Bingham falls, this is the starting point for that fall. The trailhead starts from this parking area. The fall itself is a few minutes away. The trail is steep down hill with slippery rocks and slopes. I’d recommend wearing a proper set of hiking boots for this trail. It isn’t difficult so anyone could easily do this and watch the spectacular falls at the end of the trail. The parking area is limited but is available on either side of the road. I’d avoid this if there’s rain pouring down since it’d make it more challenging to get a good grip going down the trail. The trail is very well maintained and there are sign boards to lead the way. A good trail overall and a must visit place if you’re around the area

Bingham is always a blast. The water is much cooler than Brewster River on the other side of the mountain. This is a good place to jump but does require a bit of a walk from the parking lot. You will have to go down stone steps and uneven ground that is often wet. To get to the pool of rocks you will also need to climb down some large boulders. It's a heck of a place though, simply breathtaking. Please be kind to the environment and stay on the trail. Take all trash out with you. There is no camping in this park, there is a State Park just up the road however.

Bingham Falls is a beautiful spot. Short walk on a moderately wide path with some rock "steps" when you are close to the falls (slippery when wet). We walked in, spent time at the falls, explored along the river and walked back out in an hour. Many people (and dogs) of all kinds on the trail from hikers with backpacks and poles to a group of teenagers in bathingsuits and sandals. Please respect roped off areas. Only park in designated areas.
