Mogadore Reservoir — Attraction in Suffield Township

The lake is nice, but since Covid some of the ramps are overrun with rude idiots who don’t know the functional difference between a ramp and a rigging area. More times than not I’m sitting there waiting for some moron to load his kayaks on top of his car on the ramp when he could be doing that 50 feet down next to the beach and let the boaters get in and out. And when you try to point out that the ramp is not a 15-minute rigging area or parking lot, they either disdainfully pretend you don’t exist or act like they own the place and can do whatever they want. I’ll start with the positive things first. It’s a nice area and has beautiful scenery to look at while your fishing pole sits in the water for 8 hours and no action you can also rent a kayak for a decent price The Cons are there’s always trash everywhere the trash pandas are crazy and always digging through the dumpster. The parking lot has more potholes than parking spots, but the worse part of all is the fishing you would have better luck catching a fish in your bathtub In conclusion if you’re looking for a place that has nice water and some cools tree and wanna lose about $100 worth of lures each fishing trip then mogadore...

What a wonderful time my husband & I had here today. The fishing was AMAZING!!!! We started at 7a.m. left a little after 5p.m. My husband caught multiple types of fish throughout the day. Couple Perch, bluegill, couple channel cat & 1"huge" blue cat. We saw multiple types of animals frogs, toads, colorful dragon flies, snakes, osprey & muskrat. Beautiful butterflies everywhere.
