St Nicholas Banquet Center — Attraction in Suffield Township

I cannot begin to fully express how grateful I am and how much I appreciate Maria (and her husband Jim) and her staff at St. Nicholas Banquet Center. I got married on 12/5/2015 and had both our ceremony and the reception at the banquet center. Choosing St. Nicholas Banquet Center was the BEST thing we ever did! The hall is naturally beautiful and required minimal decorating. Maria was very accommodating and anything that we needed or wanted she was ready and willing to help. Maria made the entire process so easy and smooth. The amount of time and attention that she puts into every little detail simply blew me away. The food was absolutely delicious! We selected the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast (OMG so freaking amazing!!!), Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, Green Beans w/Onion & Bacon Pieces, Corn and the creamy Red Skin Potatoes. All were so tasty and yummy! Thank goodness we had left overs so we were able to enjoy our wedding meal for a couple days. I've heard horror stories of folks whom have selected amazing halls and unfortunately the food fell short of their expectation and then I've heard the same about the halls that were not so visually appealing but the food was amazing. I am so thankful that I was fortunate to have BOTH amazing hall with super delicious food. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for putting Maria in my life love her to pieces. Beautiful, Affordable, Excellent Service!

After my sister's wedding here in 2017, my parents said they wouldn't go anywhere else! My wedding reception in 2019 was absolutely stellar. On both occasions, the decorations were stunning and the food was so delicious! (Say YES to the homemade pierogis!). At other weddings for the same cost, the food has been dry and not flavorful. The food is top notch at St. Nicholas so you are really getting good value here! We found the prices overall to be affordable in light of the excellent service, spacious ballroom, and beautiful decorations. ADDED BONUS: the wedding party table comes pre-decorated with tiny lights, which makes for a stunning effect during dinner.

Maria is an excellent planner, and she made sure everything down to the last detail was exactly how we wanted it. She even made special accommodations for us to set up our homemade wedding cookies the day before the wedding-- an Italian tradition! I couldn't have asked for a better host for this night.

St. Nicholas Banquet Center was PERFECT for us. It was very stressful and overwhelming to find a place that would hold both of our huge families. David was wonderful, and he made this whole process a lot easier for us. He was very thorough and communicative. The staff was great and they did such a beautiful job with our center pieces. We received many comments about how beautiful the hall was. From the the lighting, the large bar and friendly bartenders, to even the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the whole hall in general. Aside from the atmosphere, everyone loved the food. Absolutely delicious. I’m pretty sure you could choose any item offered on the menu, and it would be amazing. Also, if you are wanting to get a couple outside pictures, the area behind the hall is very pretty with the grass and trees in the background. I highly recommend St. Nicholas Banquet Center!
