Read moreThis park's main purpose is for large events and gatherings, but it is nice to walk there and there is also a nice walking/biking trail. On the walking paths, there is no shade, so come prepared with a hat. It doesn't really get busy, and one reason may be that it is somewhat hidden and There isn't a playground for children.
Update. Recently construction has completed and there is now a connector road and sidewalk from memorial park to Brazos river park. Read moreThe venue is great. Sound system is great. Beer and wine prices are a little high but that’s anywhere. The restrooms are port a cans but have hand wash stations outside.
There is NOT a designated Uber/Lyft pickup area. I had to help a couple people with guiding the driver to the pin. Lots of rookie drivers around that can’t follow the app directions. Sad.
I’d the weather is nice, is a fun venue. Bring your chairs and enjoy!
