Calico 1 — Attraction in Summerlin South

I’m an avid hiker/runner athlete, and being in Las Vegas for over 3 years now, this was my first time coming out here. I did make it special, as I proposed to my fiancé here a month ago. A little late posting, but still here to give feedback. People were very friendly on the trail. A lot of tourists come to this one, since it’s the first trail. The couple that I asked to take a picture of us, got a surprise, when I asked him to record it for me 😉. Please come out here. This placed is phenomenal. If you are adventurous, PLEASE leave people who are not where they are so that you can take your time and enjoy this beautiful place. It is a wonderful place to hike and just take in the beauty it posses. PLEASE bring a lot of water, food/snacks, proper clothing, a hat, of course sunglasses and sunscreen. Ensure that the sole of your shoes are not slippery, there are many places to slip if you are not careful. There are many stops to take breathtaking...

Unbelievable! What a natural wonder this place is. We drove through it didn't do much hiking but there is a larger amount of hiking available here and it looks to be well worth it! Be aware that you need an online reservation to get it. I recommend you do it before you leave as cell phone service is a no go at this place. You can easily look it up and get your drive through reservations so do your research. We went on a day that was sunny but not hot. Bring water...
