Nellis Meadows Park — Attraction in Sunrise Manor

I take my dogs for a walk in this place every single morning they've got on one side a lot of Hill for the dogs to get exercise running up and down I would give it five star rating if they had at least benches around the trees or even up on the hillside for people to sit down to rest after walking around especially people like me that are unable to Bend their knees to sit down on the ground or once you sit down are unable to get up on your own. I know you could carry around a park chair but is very inconvenient especially walking your dogs on a leash. not only that where the playground is there's not one bench for the parents to sit and watch the kids play and again when I took my niece and nephews to play I was unable to sit. They have one area with a group of tables near restrooms where most of the time there's homeless people or people drinking hanging out so it's very uncomfortable especially being by myself I don't dare go near there. if they spread those tables throughout the park it would be great to be able to have a picnic with family. They have BMX track 4 bike races which is great every Saturday they have soccer teams that play 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you like to watch soccer. I would say my biggest complaint about the park is the lack of benches especially where they have all the trees where they could put benches for people to sit in the shade and enjoy the park maybe take the tables they have and spread them out under the trees for picnics . too many parks are all about getting family and friends together for birthday...

this is a clean park, and the park was nice, my 3 major issues was 1.) the restrooms where locked and my 8yo she needed to use the potty, so we had to cut the visit short. 2.) the next thing. there was this enclosed area near the parking area, it was also closed but had sewage pipes coming out of the ground and standing water in the same pit. Smelt like human feces, it was bad! 3.) The other issue of some rude kids calling my daughter names! Rude kids with a father that was too busy on his phone than watching his children. If we can keep the rude children under control it would be a great place. other than that it was a nice place and...

Be very careful walking in the park there are some holes in the grass areas that you can't see because the grass is covering them I stepped in a hole this morning while walking my dog and broke my ankle 6/9/16 and there is no number I can find to report this accident. Otherwise I love this park to walk My dogs in. I love to watch the little rabbits that run around free in the park. I would give the park a five star if there was a number ailable to get ahold of Park authorities in a case like mine to let them know what happened before someone else breaks their ankle or...
