If I can give this place 0 stars, I would. Prepare to read a long, serious, & truthful experience. Me & My husband came from California & we moved into this apartment for a year. Well, you get what you paid for. $650 for a one bedroom apartment that includes water, sewer, & trash. We didn't have time to really locate apartments so we had to take this one.
Con: This complex is literally right across the street from Nellis Air force Base so be prepared to hear jets right above you at least 20 times a day, to the point where your walls vibrate from it. It is so annoying.
Con: They won't have apartments ready for you. We moved in July 15th last year and our A.C. unit was not working which you know is a necessity in Las Vegas & at that time of year. We had NO A.C. for 2 weeks!! I have eczema & I was suffering badly.
Con: After the A.C. got fixed, it kept breaking & breaking. Out of the year, our A.C. has broken 7 times!! Ridiculous.
Con: The heater wasn't working for the winter. It got fixed and it only broke on us once so we got it replaced. But when it was replaced, they left the old heater on our patio for 2 weeks. It took them like 8 calls for me to hound at them to pick it up.
Con: Roaches. Yes, this place had roaches all the time & I am a neat freak. I kept my place clean all the time. My husband had to buy certain traps that really worked because after those were put in place, they never showed up. Plus, we called them to being the exterminator twice 3 months after the traps just to make sure they wouldn't come back.
Con: Flood: I had a flood in my living room from the next room over due to rain. It went all in my living room. Luckily, I was on the bottom floor where there is no carpet. I was so upset. Like how would it happen anyways?!
Con: Termites. I had termites eat at the dining room wall on the seal. I also had mold growing around that same area due to the water heater leaking & getting through the wall! It was rotting away!! It left a stain & I am not responsible for that.
Con: Ants! Oh my God. I had ants 3 times!! The first time, I did my own home remedy solution & didn't report. They were gone for 3 weeks & they came back. Mind you, this was during winter. The second time, they would not go away! There were so many. The solution only worked for a week this time. They came back & that's when I called the office. They said the pest control only comes on Fridays so I had to wait 4 days while ants were all over the kitchen & dining room!!
Con: The appliances. This place is so old, the stoves & refrigerator are like from the 80s. It is really sad. This complex is so cheap. Our stove range has one that doesn't work & it has been that way for the last 2 months. They won't come to fix it. As long as we have the other 3 that work, it wasn't a big deal. The refrigerator on the other hand. It wasn't cooling anymore & I had to take my frozen meat to my job site for 3 weeks because they would not believe me that my fridge wasn't working that the manager Alejandra had to come & she is the worst excuse of a manager. My husband saw them bring their "new" refrigerator from a vacant apartment!! How sad!! Just recycling their appliances & it is even older from the one that broke down!!
Con: The neighborhood. It is so ghetto. All the kids have NO parental supervision. Kids as little as 2 years old walking around the street without an adult. The kids hanging around outside your car, your property. Fights every weekend outside mines where cops were called plenty of times. Ghetto ratchets live there. Keep away! There is constant trash everywhere. Old appliances left by the trash for weeks to be picked up, people dumping their old furniture out like it's normal trash. These people there have no respect for the way they want to be represented.
Management: They are a sad excuse, just like their security. Bunch of rent a cops that roam around once a day. You have to keep bugging the office every day for them to tend to your problems. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!! WORST...
These apartments are the absolute worst! My boyfriend & I use to live here back in 2016-2017 & it was an experience we'll never forget. We filled out an application just to see if we would get approved even though we didn't decide if it was going to be our new home. We didn't hear anything from them for over a week. What surprised us was our cable and electric company had called us to verify that we were transferring services over to an apartment at Liberty Village. We went there to find out why they were moving our services & who gave authority. Anna had told us that our application was approved & also gave us an apartment number on the spot. We located the apartment, it was an upstairs unit. We looked through the windows & the inside was trashed. We went back to the office & told her that we weren't going to move into that apartment. She gave us another apartment number, which was a downstairs unit but that unit was also trashed & not ready. We decided that we were no longer interested but Anna told us that our apartment was almost done & if we could wait she'll take us there so we can look at it. When we walked in, the air in the unit was filled with a thick smell of paint, it was almost unbearable. We also found dead bugs & roaches in the cabinets & drawers in the kitchen. Anna said that they have an exterminator that comes out every Friday to spray around & they hardly had issues with bugs/roaches. She also said we had some time for an initial walk through of our unit & anything wrong just to call the office to put in a work order & they'll have maintenance come & fix it promptly. After we had moved our stuff in we noticed that our unit didn't have hot water. We called Anna & she said she'll send maintenance over to check. When he arrived, we walked him to the patio & noticed the heating & air conditioning unit was taken apart and those pieces was sprawled all across the patio floor. Maintenance said a part was needed, that he'd have to request it & get it by mail. In the meantime to call the gas company to request for someone to come out & turn it on, but that had to wait till he received the part. He also said that he'll work on fixing the heater & a/c unit too when he returned. We didn't have hot water for over a week. But the troubles didn't stop there. We had 2 or 3 different neighbors that lived on the top floor above us & their kids over flowed the bath tub & toilets. The drains in the sinks were plugged and the water was left running, caused 4 different floods in my apartment. The last one was the worse, water leaked out of the light fixtures in the kitchen, hallway. Our apartment felt like a rain forest. It was hot & muggy & mold/mildew began to form. In April 2016 there was a shooting from the pool area which we lived right across from. One of the bullets hit my dining room wall where my son was playing. There were also 3 other shootings in that community afterwards. Our A/C & heating unit was never fixed on time. We went 3 months without A/C in the summer. We asked to move to another unit & was denied. I made many attempts, calls & going to the office to get these issues resolved and nothing. I also had a newborn living in that dreadful place. It was awful. My 2 kids now suffer speech delay & neurological damage because of the black mold on the walls. Close to the end of our lease I finally got to speak to Alejandra. She told me that we could leave before our lease ended at no charge. We found another place, immediately cleaned our unit & left. After a few months we checked our credit report & saw that Liberty Village charged us $600 some. We paid our rent on time every month. They also kept our security deposit & cleaning deposit which is a total of $1500.00! So what is it that we owe? Not a damn thing! We're the ones who suffered ... my kids suffered & are suffering now! They need to take that $600 some off mine & my...

Cancelling leases after receiving payment and leaving folks homeless! The staff is untrained and are not knowledgeable of leasing requirements.
I had to travel to NV to apply and interview for a whole new job, obtain and turn in a new offer letter, with a VERIFIABLE COMPANY and Dafne still gave me a hard time and prolonged the process even further instead of calling to verify my employment.
She also never called the 1st job I acquired in NV, whom supplied me with an offer letter, in which I lost the position waiting for Dafne, because she couldnt find the company on google!
No one checked the status of my esa letter or had the decency to tell me that a different department at a different location has to approve it 1st. General manager Danielle stated the agents do not have to disclose the ESA requirements in details during the application process. When they approve an apt and the other dept has not decided, the tenant is still responsible for paying non-refundable pet deposits and monthly fees. Danielle further stated they do not and will not call to check the status.
My landlord of 2yrs completed and sent back the residency form to the agent, supplied a copy of the rental agreement from 2022, my address is on my credit report, utlities are in my name and they still called us a liar. Ultimately, they did not honor the $500 move-in special that they advertised and sold me for me to apply.
I am disgusted, disheartened, embarrassed, I have been made a fool of on way too many occasions dealing with this untrained staff. I am highly concerned about the process I have been through. It has been the upmost worse rental experience I have ever experienced. A complete circus act.
I kept my voice down, I used professional language, I never spoke over anyone, just sat there being polite through it all. I had to step out of the office because I began to cry.
Can you imagine how embarrassing it is that all you can do is walk away and cry. I am appalled at this property, the staff, the words "we dont have to go in detail about our process, we give you general information" after taking my money, twice! Sickening and no one should have to endure this type of treatment.
Prior to leaving and after waiting almost 2hrs, I asked the property Manager Danielle for the corporate number and she literally told me NO, GOOGLE IT. She REFUSED to supply me with her business card and sat there, face frowned up, looking super bothered that I asked for her to come out and speak with me. After providing the worse customer servuce ever, she had the nerve to ask me have all of your questions been answered.
The next day, both me and my fiance received emails saying approved and to show proof of electricity $0, gas $85 and renter insurance $22 prior to move in on Friday. My email instructed me to sign my lease and pay the remaining balance of $1480. NOT TO MENTION THE $255 WHEN I APPLIED.
Everything was done and when I got down there to pick up my keys, Danielle had cancelled my lease, at 520pm on a friday. Told me i could not get a refund and that i could not move in until Monday, after completeing another lease. A 23 document lease, that took me 2hrs to read through and sign. These people ran a background check, sent approval emails to my fiance, whom is also LISTED ON MY SIGNED LEASE. But, because the office failed to also send my fiance the 23 document lease to sign, DANIELLE CANCELLED EVERYTHING AND TOLD ME IT WAS BASICALLY MY FAULT. Listen, when I say run, Im talking high knees, hurdles and olympics! This is a wrong turn type of situation, get far away from this...
