The first employee I ran into was very helpful. I asked where I could find what I was looking for and she told me right where to go and who was working in that section. I was walking around in looking for what I needed and the same employee actually came back to check on me to ensure I found what I was looking for (my guess is she's a newer employee, or maybe she's actually that nice and considerate?? Who knows?). Anyways, I couldn't find what I came to get so she called for another employee, who worked the section I was in, to come over and assist me (this is where my experience went down the toilet). This rude, probably 5' 3-4" Hispanic looking lady with blonde highlights and super-roots arrives and I could tell she was being inconvenienced.. maybe it was time for her smoke break or maybe she was having an off day, whatever.. She wasn't happy. I told her what I needed and she immediately just takes off.. I'm guessing at this point I'm supposed to follow this angry broad.. So, I begin hot pursuit. She stops, looks at this locked case and then irritatedly looks at me like "is this what you're looking for?" I peer in this plexiglass, caged case that isn't lit and is kind of hard to see in, and said, "this looks like the area I was looking for." I pointed out what I needed and then asked if she had anything smaller (I was there for medical syringes for my pinky mice and needed smaller needles). She looks at me and condisendingly says "you need needles?..." "why?". I explain to her that I'm injecting my feeder mice with protein to feed to my GTP and that's why I need smaller needles. I get not everyone likes snakes (GTPs are beautiful creatures btw) but this broad gives me the most disgusted look ever and was SO f#€kin rude. I mean a real C U Next Tuesday... I get it, you don't like snakes or he idea of baby mice being fed to them, but HELLO?! You work at a farm store! Maybe you're not cut out for this work... there are far more gruesome things that happen on a farm than snakes eating mice.. Sorry, tangent, I know. I'll leave out the BS details from here on out. I get my stuff, head to he register this punk a$$ kid at the register just stares at me when I get up there.. um hello? Anyone home? I put my things in the counter and he turns around to say something to the other cashier.. This MFr... I couldnt believe it.. Idk, Call me old fashioned I guess but since when do you turn your back on a customer who's waiting to be helped? Ef me, right?! My son was with me and he wanted a .99 cent soda so I said "go for it" and he set it on the counter. I had already had my card in the chip reader thingy and he asked if I wanted to pay for all of the items together.. uh, yeah???? I politely said "yes, sir." He grabs it, rings it up and then asks me if I want a bag? No, I'd like to walk outside with 5 syringes in my hand.. I said "yes, please." He bagged my things and then I grabbed them and left.. this place has everything you could think of when it comes to the outdoors, and "some" (one) of the employees are nice. This place gets two stars their lucky to get that. Maybe I came in on an off day, but I wasn't impressed with anything other than the wide array of items they...
Read moreIf I could give them 0 stars I would solely based on one incident. For 2+ months now I have been bringing in my 5 year old inquiring about bunnies. Multiple times we were given dates and multiple times showing up on them dates to have my boy disappointed time and time again. Finally we show up and there is a sign this time stating they would be in on the 17th-18th of this month. So after a long wait and many trips there we finally were excited that this date we could get him a bunny. We show up on this date and they came in 3 days prior to that date and then find out they wont be getting any more in. I havent been this mad in a long time. They knew we were in there week after week asking about them yet showed as if they could care less about this boy getting what he wanted. A f**king kid!!! They take my name and number down after this all takes place when that should have been done in the first place. Piss poor customer service if you ask me. Whatever happend to going above and beyond for a customer??? Obviously this place could care less about that as long as they make a buck. Im done...
Read moreEvery time I go, I feel like I'm a bother to the older female workers. Especially with my military discount. (I spend $300/mo here) There is a lady with a terrible dye job that I guess is manager. I went to buy flea collars. The collars they had were not marked and under a tag that said $19.99. (Figured that out in 15 min of walkie-talkie)I get them because I didn't want to spend a fortune. I get to checkout and the lady stated they ring up $54.99. She called back and the girl that opened the cage for me told her the price they are ($19.99). She brought the tags up that said $17.99 & $19.99. The bad dye job manager, myself, and the girl who sold them to me went back to look. She told her to get a price on these immediately, even if you put it directly on the item. She didn't even look at me, started walking away saying I'm sorry ma'am, they are$54.99, b^$#@, where?!?! I'm not looking for something for free, but I'm looking for good customer service. I feel like they don't want my black a$$ in there so they treat me bad so I won't come back. It's one of the most terrible feelings in...
