Our 4some went here on a groupon. It was a great deal. The pro shop and the club house cook/attendant were great. The weather was very spotty and there was a very good chance we weren't going to finish all 18. In fact we only finished 8, and were pulled in by the ranger as we started the 9th due to lightening. We were in the clubhouse for maybe 10 minutes before a torrential down pour hit. The pro shop gave us a rain check and we'll be coming back.
As for the 8 holes we finished there was nothing wrong. The last few days there was plenty of rain, but the course must drain well, because there was not much standing water on the course. The course is a public course and well maintained. The fairways were smooth and didn't have many divots. The fairways were wide and the rough on either side was forgiving. Not many water hazards, and just a handful of sand traps. If you have a hard time hitting your drives straight, this course will not frustrate you.
I only gave it 3 stars because it was very simple and plain. I like a little scenery when golfing and this was lacking. But it is well maintained and great for a relaxing day if you don't have...
Read moreI loved this Family Sports Center.
The mini golf course is short, but very creative. It has unique holes with techniques I haven’t seen before like jumping over a shark bite on the green and cascading down mini cliffs. The course is also decorated with wonderfully painted, fun sculptures like a duck in a raincoat, a robot, and a superhero.
There are also resident dogs that are SUPER CUTE and WELL BEHAVED. I’ve been in town for travel and have been going through pet withdrawal. Visiting Mac and Zoey made me very happy.
I didn’t visit the other parts of the center, but they looked fun. The golf range has an old car at about 150 yards you can aim at, and other fun targets.
I highly recommend the FSC and will definitely visit again if I end up traveling...
Read moreStopped here on a whim when we had some time to kill, ended up staying over 3 hours and doing everything they have to offer. Go karts (geared more for the very young crowd), 18 holes of mini golf, golf driving range- various size / priced ball buckets and complementary drivers / clubs, trampoline bounce basketball shootout, batting cages with several speed and ball options (helmets and bats provided) and a soccer kicking cage. 3 people, 3+ hours doing everything and we spent less than $40 including a few...
