I recently visited MCP. I found the park disappointing. The tables and benches were dirty and had webs. Did not want to sit there and eat. The grass was in need of mowing. There was debris and sticks all over the ground making it difficult for the little ones to walk through the grass. The play area was also covered in long grass where there used to be nice mulch. The play equipment was filthy which made me refuse to let the little ones play on it. The walk ways in areas were covered in dirt/mud along with sticks and leaves. I know this is a wooded park and by nature things will not stay clean. But for the sake of the community, little ones the elderly, people in wheelchairs this park is unacceptable. As such, we won't be back until our 18m old can hold her own there. Even standing next to her at the smallest water sprayer, she got knocked over multiple times by bigger kids running through. Some even intentionally sat on sprayers and sprayed her and others in the...

We checked the park website before coming with no closure warnings. And the sign telling us the splash pad is closed for inclement weather and offers a QR code with more information on the closure takes you to the park website which tells that everything is open.
Drove over an hour to bring...
