Went for the splash pad not knowing that it also offered other playground options that kept the kids busy for almost 2 hours. There are trees around for parents that wish to hang out in the shade. There are picnic tables but they are far from the splash pad area so I suggest bringing a picnic blanket if you want to sit near the splash pad. Parking is adequate and bathrooms are conveniently located within the park. It’s definitely a good option on a hot day but does get crowded.

Great park to bring the kids. Plenty of playgrounds. Plenty of picnic tables. With electrical outlets to charge your devices. Water fountains both personal and for water bottles. Lastly a water park for the kids to fool around in on those hot days This place even has a shower for the kids after they play.

This is a fun place to bring kids. They have two great dry parks. One with lots of rope climbing & a Zipline. Then one standard playground. The splash pad looks like a lot of fun but we came the one day it's closed. 🤣 It's open everyday from 10-7 EXCEPT Tuesdays.

I recently visited MCP. I found the park disappointing. The tables and benches were dirty and had webs. Did not want to sit there and eat. The grass was in need of mowing. There was debris and sticks all over the ground making it difficult for the little ones to walk through the grass. The play area was also covered in long grass where there used to be nice mulch. The play equipment was filthy which made me refuse to let the little ones play on it. The walk ways in areas were covered in dirt/mud along with sticks and leaves. I know this is a wooded park and by nature things will not stay clean. But for the sake of the community, little ones the elderly, people in wheelchairs this park is unacceptable. What maintenance is being done to maintain a nice family community park? I did give it two stars because there is nice play equipment on...

Really enjoyed how much this park has to offer. Picnic area, trails, a playground, splash pad, and bathrooms (that are gross, just fyi), We had lunch under the big pavilion and then went to the new splash pad. The splash pad is smaller than expected, but the water is warm, which is a huge plus. Limited areas to sit nearby, so bring a blanket for the ground. Most parents were seated around the area but not actively supervising their kids. As it's small, there isn't an area for just little little kids. As such, we won't be back until our 18m old can hold her own there. Even standing next to her at the smallest water sprayer, she got knocked over multiple times by bigger kids running through. Some even intentionally sat on sprayers and sprayed her and others in the...

The water area of the park is closed because of ‘inclement weather today’. It’s just sunny and hot- isn’t that the whole point of the water park in the first place? There’s a whole outdoor event going on down the street which is surely a sign that the weather is fine….

We checked the park website before coming with no closure warnings. And the sign telling us the splash pad is closed for inclement weather and offers a QR code with more information on the closure takes you to the park website which tells that everything is open.

Drove over an hour to bring...
