We visit this area often with our dogs. They always enjoy the extended walks we take them on, and we enjoy the simple beauty of the Jersey Pines. The only downside is that the parking area and the trails closest to it are often littered with massive piles of horse manure. I know cleaning up after a horse is not as easy as picking up after a dog, but perhaps the horses could enter the trails just up the road near the railroad tracks to keep the mess away from the parking lot nearest...

There's a campground that is tent only across the street as well. There is an out house to use its a little walk away from the monument. I visit this area daily and never get tired of seeing it.
