Two years ago when I first brought my family here, we were delighted with the experience. This year was a bit disappointing. I understand that the drought left the farm without a corn maze and a very limited selection of pumpkins, but it’s not as if they offered discount pricing because of that, and everything you want to do costs extra. So it is seven dollars a person to get in, and then you have to pay per person for the hayride, and pay per person for the barrel train ride (or buy a combo pass for those), and pay for the pumpkin trebuchet. And then, of course you have to pay for the pumpkins. So it all can become quite expensive very quickly. So my family of four paid over $60 to walk in the gate, find some struggling pumpkins, and watch other kids whose families could afford more enjoy the rides and the pumpkin toss. All in all there wasn’t much value here.
I do value what this place represents, and the family that runs it are lovely people. I just wish that in a struggling season like this one, where there’s no corn maze and clearly they are pumpkined out, that they might consider reducing the entry fee and explaining that they can’t offer the same experience they were able to offer in previous years. I would have...

Mrs. came out greeting, talking about candies and items being prepared and where to get pumpkins out in the field an where big an large ones were, how to check out. As i thought it was over and we explored the farm petting sheep's and Otis the donkey Mr. Simmons comes out "hey how about i take the family out on the hey ride my treat i have not checked out the decorations on the path today climb on in." and made the day of each of my kids they couldn't stop talking about the hey ride. I Thought ok I'm good we have had the best family day out in a while Mr.Simmons strikes again with "I've got nothing going on i can take the kids on the cow train too?" and the best part as i tried to hand Mr.Simmons cash for doing this to say thank you so much this was great he just kept saying "nope, no not necessary at all ." i refused to take it back it was by far less than i would of liked to give for this experience with my family today. Thank you Simmons Farm we will see...
