Terrible experience, service and speed was just awful. People came in after us was getting served before us, waited a good 15 minutes for our Goritos, there were 3 of us 2 of us ordered Goritos, other guy, blt and small 5 way, he got his food in less than 5 minutes. He was finished eating before we got our 2 Goritos, the lady making the food was the "boss" I guess cuz she was just rude to the waitresses and took forever to make our food, told the waitress here they've been waiting FOREVER take this to them.... Ha embarrassing, a good three groups of people came in after us and got served before us even the waitress Mickey's boyfriend with his friend came in got better, quicker service than us too! Guessing you gotta know someone or dress like a million bucks to get service sad I eat gold star at least 3-4 times a week never will I choose that one again, was sad 2 guys were just walking around doing nothing one guy drive thru 2 servers and only one person making food... We come in only 2 others were there so they DEFINITELY wasn't busy just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom the moment we walked in the door and sat down I knew we should get up and walk right out. On the way to our table we were literally having to step over big piles of who knows what. We gave them rmthe benefit of the doubt, cause really how hard is it to prepare Gold Star. While the waitress was taking our drink order she informed us they would be getting right on cleaning up the HUGE mess on the floor. We order and receive our food and it is prepared horribly. My conies were literally almost flipped upside down and the buns were SO soggy. About half way through eating our meal a young man finally came out and HALFWAY wiped up the mess on the floor, which we heard about 3 of them arguing about who had to do it since we got there. After leaving both me and my date felt horrible, which I have never felt bad from eatting Goldstar. Overall I regrettably have to say to definately avoid Goldstar...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDisgusting. Went in December after my sons basketball game at Bethel Tate. We wanted to treat a relative who came to my sons game to some good Cincinnati chili, but there wasn't a skyline near, so we had to settle for gold star. The chili tasted nasty, they hardly put any on our food anyways. My husband said it was the worst thing he'd ever tried and would never go back as long as he ever lived. My son got a Frito burrito with a chese coney, and said chili tasted better, but they put way too much on his coney. The reason I bothered to give this place two stars because 1) the service was not half bad, and 2) our relative from Chillicothe, OH liked the food she got. We are planning on treating our relative to some chili that's actually good, from skyline after a disappointing experience...
