Dora Canal — Attraction in Tavares

My wife and I toured the Dora Canal with Capt. David of Real Florida Boat Tours on Monday 12/27/2021. Perfect in every way! They offer private tours at a very affordable price and couldn’t have been more accommodating. From the phone call to David’s wife Melissa inquiring about the tour to the moment we docked. Team Powers paddled the canal today for our family weekend outing. Yep, and that's the last time we will do so on a weekend or maybe ever. If you like lots of boats parading by, and smelling noxious fumes, and getting swamped by rude motor boaters who do not follow no wake signs, then by all means this is the place for you! The Dora Canal is located in Lake County, Florida, near the city of Tavares and connects Lake Dora with Lake Eustis.
