The winery is a bit off the beaten path. You do have to drive a bit in a circle to get in and out of this place…. It’s also a dirt road so you’ll like I need to wash your car afterwards. They have an indoor tasting room that is air-conditioned and there are several tables that can accommodate small groups up to approximately 6-8. They were three or four, four tops indoors. Outdoors, there were tons of seating, along with a covered patio area and a grassy area where they occasionally host live concerts. There wasn’t any entrées that were available at the time we went, but they did have a small prepackaged charcuterie box that was pretty decent. Service was good and the ladies at the bar were knowledgeable. The wines were also tasty. I really enjoyed the last blend on the red tasting menu and the Tempranillo.

Decent wines but rather overpriced. $28-40 for reds and whites. Nice tasting room, friendly staff! $10 tasting is waved with 2 bottle purchase or 3 bottles of sparkling. We had the almond sparkling and left with a bottle.

Fun place. Great patio with spectacular views and yummy wines. The people that work here are so kind and helpful. If visiting Tehachapi don't miss this place.

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Wine and Hospitality

Triassic Winery in Tehachapi is truly one of California’s best-kept secrets. From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with breathtaking views of the rolling hills and a peaceful, elevated setting perfect for sipping incredible wine.

What sets Triassic apart isn't just the quality of their wines (which are superb; smooth reds, crisp whites, and rich blends that rival any major wine region), but the genuine warmth and expertise of the staff. Tiffany and Hillary are absolute standouts. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and personalized approach make every visit memorable. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or a casual taster, they make you feel welcome, valued, and right at home.

The tasting room is stylish yet cozy, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Events are always well-organized, and the staff creates an experience that is both intimate and professional. You can truly feel the pride they take in representing the winery.

If you're in or around Tehachapi or even planning a trip through California’s Central Valley Triassic is a must-visit. You’ll leave with a few bottles (or a case), great memories, and already planning your next visit.

Thank you, Tiffany and Hillary, for making Triassic a place I’ll return to...

We heard about the winery from a friend and so glad we made it out to the rural countryside out here in Tehachapi. The winery is quaint and has beautiful covered patio overlooking the vineyard. What made it special is the warm welcome we received from the staff however, the one who stood out was Marley who gave us a quick but thorough introduction to the wines. We tried the 15.00 tasting which included two whites and three reds. I loved the 2018 Legacy and my sweetheart enjoyed the Sparkling Almond😀. Great ambiance and the atmosphere is truly down to earth. BiG plus they had live music which made our visit memorable. Definitely a repeat visit to such a wonderful winery!! Kudos to the staff for their kind and great...
