Parked in Temecula High School’s lot and walked a few blocks to Ronald Reagan Sports Park. Didn’t have to go far but it sure was crowded. Found an excellent spot at the bottom of a berm near a baseball field to set up our chairs and wait for the sky to darken. People went past us carrying ice cream, smoothies, and plates and chips. Everybody seemed hungry. You’d also find lots of port a potties. The baseball field was well lit until the lights were turned off. The deejay talked for a bit before and after the music timed to the fireworks show. The only difficulty was in our journey out of the area. Read moreWhat an awesome community park! We brought our grandkids (age 4 and 6) here with their bike and scooter recently to check out the pump tracks. There are two - one for younger kids, one for older kids and another area for skateboarding. They absolutely loved all three tracks! All the older kids were so great about taking turns and giving the little ones a chance to try out the more challenging areas.

Read moreIts a beautiful park. I visited for the first time today brought a ball for my dog just in case we came across spot I could left her off leash. About three minutes into the park a ranger approaches me says no off leash dogs and my dog had not been off leash at any point since entering the park I say okay and he repeats himself three more times but I am following the rule. So instead I decide to do on leash training with her, sits, stays, downs, but the park ranger kept making circles around me and parking in various places and watching me for at least 20 minutes.
