Dear Lesley "Les" Miller Jr., From: The McKay Family I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the extraordinary park you have created. This space is not just a park to my family and me; it is a vibrant oasis of health, creativity, and healing where the spirit of our inner children can flourish. The park's thoughtful design invites us to roam freely through nature, with lush greenery and inviting pathways that beckon for exploration. Its prime location near our home at Seminole Apartments transforms it into an accessible sanctuary, and we are hopeful that it will remain a well-tended haven, equipped with up-to-date facilities for families to cherish together. I actively encourage my children to embark on adventures within this enchanting space, recognizing the immeasurable value of play in their growth. The attention to detail in maintaining safe, sturdy fencing truly reflects the community’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of everyone who visits. This remarkable "creativity and healing space" serves as a catalyst for connection, bringing together parents and families through a variety of support groups and gatherings. By sharing these pictures, I hope to convey the deep appreciation we have for our outdoor experiences and the impact they have on our lives. Thank you once again for your unwavering dedication to this beautiful space. If you’re interested in partnering on initiatives to nurture and elevate this community treasure, I would be delighted to connect. Warmest regards, The McKay Family

A HIDDEN GEM and worth the drive down from Wesley Chapel to Tampa! This is the motherload of playground/splash pad combos. It isn’t in the nicest part of town (I went to high school next door), but the facility felt safe and very family-friendly. We went on a Sunday around 11:00am with my husband, and our 4yo & 17-month old. The playground is enclosed with wide open turf flooring (wheelchair & stroller friendly). There are a couple different places to park. It was easy to maneuver my stroller through the walkways. There are many covered picnic tables, multiple restrooms, dressing rooms with a diaper changing table. The playground has something for everyone. The splash pad area is separate. It has a small pirate ship with a dual slide. A shower to rinse off. We will definitely be coming back here, especially this Summer when we need to cool down & keep the kiddos busy!

This is an inclusion recreation center (wheelchair friendly plus) that provides child care. There is a gymnasium, confrence room, multi-purpose room, gym. Various activities held on site including archery, (wheelchair) basketball, dance sessions, girls scouts etc. Nice walking trail with benches and workout "port" alongside. There is a "forest" walking path as well (Did not take). The walking trail has mile markers on pavement. There are places to park a car. Currently no membership is required for outside use. In the center of the walking trail is a open tree area. There is a grilling area with multiple picnic pavillions surrounding it. There is an outdoor basketball court. The outdoor playground is child-lock fenced, composed of soft grass like turf. Swing set for various age groups. Musical play items like xylophone and percussion windchimes with mallets. Makeshift rock climbing. Multiple Slides of various heights, monkey bars, and a seesaw. Multiple play areas. There is a colorful mural and play friendly 3d water dragon art sculpture. Within walking distance of a High school, Family clinic and residential area. Highly...
