Carroll County 1000 Acre Recreational Lake — Attraction in Tennessee

Wonderful place to stay! The lake is a million dollar lake that has beautiful scenery. There is a concession stand on the lake serving great food! Also two public restrooms with showers so you can wash up if needed! Two beaches for swimming and playing. Also a place to do bank fishing. You can have water vessels on the lake for playing around like seados. You can fish the lake anywhere in a boat. They have a seperate RV area on the other side of the lake that is groomed and ready with all necessities like power, water and sewage. Also a private bath house for the RVS. No bank fishing there but you can drive to the recreation side and fish there! The lake follows TWRA (Game Warden) rules and standards. Just a wonderful...

This lake is very well-maintained and has wonderful swimming areas with lots of sandy beaches. It is a very family friendly atmosphere and during the summer on crowded days they have an awesome refreshment stand. The fishing here is nice boating is nice as well the lake is just big enough to wear or you can boat without too much worry of running into any other patrons but small enough where are you absolutely will not get lost. We came from Paris, TN and was so excited to find this area! The swimming area is sand and it’s also sand under the water. Which is lovely to not have to watch for sharp rocks or other debris. My girls loved it! The only negative is the crazy amount of dog feces. It’s EVERYWHERE. We played beach volleyball and was constantly stepping in old dog poo. When the sun was setting, the gnats invaded all the poo and they were all over us too.

We will continue coming back bc it’s amazing but I wish there were something to do...
