Great mountain bike trails near to Pigeon Forge. Trails are well maintained with great signage. Long assent that leads to multiple downhill runs at different skill levels. Coming from Chapel Hill (small hills, much roots & rocks), these descents were fast, smooth, and for me, occasionally scary narrow-trail twists. Easy parking just off main road with portable toilets, then bridge over river to a small skills park and bike shop. Then uphill to trails. I frequently ride snowshoe, rock creek and kanuga in Asheville and these trails are for sure up there on my list. Don't take kids because some mountain bikers go a little too fast and aren't watching for bikers going the opposite direction or going slower.
