This park is beautiful! It is September and the squirrels are playing and hunting food. You can see the leaves if the trees beginning to change colors to those bright reds and yellows for the fall. There are always people around bring their children to the playground or coming to exercise by walking, running, or riding their bicycles. At the top of the park, behind the swimming pool, are quiet little coves that are great for getting digital office work done or to just sit and meditate on God's creation as you sit and watch the squirrels and the birds in a peaceful setting. The ponds are beautiful and you can see people enjoying the fishing these offer. The geese think they rule the park as you watch as they move about on a section of the park they have commandeered as theirs. Then you can watch them cross the park drive to the pond. This park is sure to bring you to a state of peace if you admire it as Gid intended us to admire. The only down fall is that some of the wooden tables need to be sanded and painted. The old paint is peeling off making the table tops difficult to hold picnic dishes level and is...

I don't know who's in charge of Deming Park but they have really let it go. Just doesn't seem like the place is all that clean I don't think they take very good care of it and I noticed there's a lot of brown dead areas of grass and weeds around the park they must use a lot of chemicals. And they use zero turn mowers on the property and they absolutely do not know how to operate them correctly, they've just torn up the grass all over the park, somebody really needs to teach them how to use those zero turns without tearing up the grass, I was just there again today and the grass needs cut and numerous places throughout the park they just don't keep up with it very well! Certain times a day you'll find a lot of people in there going the wrong direction on a one-way and going way over the 15 mi an hour speed limit, they really should regulate that Park better than they do, lot of people going way over the speed limit and putting other people in danger a lot of kids and a lot of animals and a lot of old people and there's nobody enforcing the law, come on Terre Haute get your head out...

Love this place. They keep it clean. Up to date. Decent prices for booking shelters or the building.

The pool is kept clean during the summer. Their staff are bubbly teenagers at the pool; usually good with mediating and dealing with "guest issues" if anything was ever needed. I feel like a seasoned adult should be around during operation hours to (A) notice the small things and (B) to deal with the Karen's. The group does well enough, but they don't get a degree of respect, I feel is necessary.

The train is on its last leg, but when it's running, it is still a family favorite. They will decorate the track for the holidays and keep it fresh. I came as a child. I bring my children.

Active in the community with free family fun. My favorite place to visit Santa and the Easter Bunny even stops by every year 😁

The bike path is another family favorite, too. A sense of safety and constant discovery keeps my family returning all...

One of the largest and nicest parks I’ve visited! Set in a lovely neighborhood, this park is perfectly shaded by large, beautiful trees. There is a creek and a pond with a fountain. There are multiple shelter houses for picnics. The playground is awesome - lots of great options to play. There is a pool, a railroad, disc golf, and golf course available as well. A great place to go!

This is a great park, beautiful and clean. Arguably the best park in Terre Haute. There is shelters and tons of space to play, a pond that regularly has geese and that can be fished from. It also has a highly acclaimed disc golf course. And if you're a pokemon go player there is tons of stops. A pool during pool season and a playground are also features.
