I took my 9 year old son here today for his first visit to the park. He loves to ride his bike and has been dying to find a place that has ramps and jumps small enough for him to do. We started out on a trail since we weren't familiar with the park and I hiked while he rode. The trails were very nice for both. When we finally got to the jumps and ramps he was in heaven. I would have preferred a cleaner restroom facility to be available. Read moreWhat a great place to ride in Indiana! Just south of Terre Haute, Griffin Bike Park has loads of trails. Green, Blue, Black and Extreme trails are throughout the park. There’s a beautiful Lake Trail as well. I wouldn’t call it an easy family ride as some of the turns are quick and sharp, so little kids might have a harder time, but it’s a lovely trail as well. We’ve been a few times now, but our most recent trip involved Alpha, Zulu, Rock n Roll, Recon, AWOL, Floating Trail as well as Lake Trail and Freedon Trail. All are a blast. The park is clean and well-maintained with a variety of skill-building areas like a pump track, skinny lines, jumps, drops, a dual slalom course, and miles of trails. We drove an hour and a half to get here and would gladly do it again! Griffin Bike Park had everything we needed to build skills and confidence on our bikes.
