This is a gem of an experience!! One can feel the history as one passes thru the entrance and sights the beautiful ,expansive Buildings and land supporting this Great Tewksbury hospital complex. It feels like sacred ground and upon entering the beautiful Museum building you learn of the best efforts of the caregivers to present time,to provide comfort,care and safety to A most unfortunate population of Residents. And the historic role they had in today's Public Health System.The Docents are lovely And tell the stories with love and respect of the accomplishments Especially in public health of all those who came before us. It was a wonderful experience And I will go back to do the outside tour to complete my visit. Thank you volunteers !!
