This is an awesome park. This park has something for everyone to do. You can fish, walk or bike the concrete path, walk or bike the nature path, or walk or mtn bike the trails. At lunch time you can picnic by the lake or use one of the picnic tables with an attached charcoal grill. Be sure to bring the kids bc mine love the play ground. There is clean and well maintained public restrooms. Nice and shady area. There is a green and red mtb trail that is established. Trails are all moderate but the terrain is used wisely and you’ll get your share of pine covered climbing if you want to. Try riding the wilderness trail all the way around the lake for a pleasant change of pace. The three mile round trip to the spillway is a peaceful trail with plentiful wildlife.
