We had no idea this place existed. We loved it! Quiet, clean, friendly staff. Pebble Beach area was really nice for swimming. The scenery was great! We saw deer! We loved the covered picnic areas. Definately coming back! Highly recommend! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Didn't know this place existed. Got the 30 minute pass which is free just to drive around to see what they have. Will definitely come back and pay for a day pass. There's cabins and a small "beach." Nice playground for the kids.

Beautiful Scenery! It is very relaxing. Has clean restrooms, playground for kids, area for the kids to swim, you can fish there, bbq there, there are areas to sit, and has a boat ramp. Deer can also be spotted in the area.

We come here every year with our kids but after this experience with โ€œHannahโ€ we will NOT be returning. She is dismissive, rude and misleading. Thank you for ruining my familyโ€™s spring break.

RESPONSE: I'm sorry you feel the need to argue with me here being that this is a social platform for people to review their experiences. Not really professional on your end, but if you want to go back and forth that's fine with me. Let me point out everything since you failed to say the rest. Yes, it was an old ID but the fact remains that I have been to the park with my family SEVERAL times over many years, and even brought along nonmilitary friends as well, with the SAME ID and never had a problem before, so it seems to me that there is no consistency with "rules". Secondly, the fact that the ID was taken and would not be returned to me was devious. I said it was old prior to handing it over and it was still taken. I would not have handed it over period if she had said she would not give it back to me. Her response afterward was a nonchalant "yea you can't have it back". Lastly, it's clear that I'm not the only one being misled, since civilians (on other reviews) have shown up only to be turned away because they were not aware it was military only. Point is, be clear and get...

Very nice campgrounds with many options but severely under-staffed. Don't plan on getting your calls answered.

They have many option of boat and other rec items available and most of the year there is cabins, bungalows, palivians, camp sites, RV space and other lodging available at amazing prices.

When we choose to stay there we will drive there a few days prior because the campground has NEVER answered our calls. Just our experience.

Most have a valid military I'D or dependent I'D but with each valid I'D holder you can bring up to 10 non-military people to stay with you.

This works out great for small business, family or church outings. With 4 valid I'D holder you could potentially have a group of 44 people with only 4 military.

In our experience, the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Just got to be patient though because of the understanding.

These are out opinions as of the time of our posting. ...

I always enjoyed visiting this place and would highly recommend it to any of my friends. That was before I decided to spend a night at the facility and rent a Bungalow. The Bungalow was underwhelming and quite frankly, you were expected to bring everything which made the stay pointless. I was expecting more.

The worse part was that they put us up in a unit that was not pet friendly. I specifically mentioned that I had a pet, upon check in, my dog was in plain sight and the staff member even commented on him. And even then, they put me up in a non-pet friendly unit just to charge me $100 after our stay.

Porshe, the manager, was completely stone face in stealing my money and I will never return to this facility due to...
