Good campsites and picturesque lake with swimming, kayaking and fishing areas. Birding is great out here, saw over twenty species. The Tall Pines and Lakeshore trail are both nicely maintained. We did the Pines, Lakeshore, and part of the 4C trail. Around five miles and you can loop back on the forest road. Lakeshore trail has a section where it is Ada accessible for those who need it. Bathrooms are top notch also. The old saw mill ruins have some interesting history about the place and show how quick nature can take back over...
Read moreBeautiful park! We were on a day visit. We were there in April, gorgeous weather, and hardly anyone there. Quiet, secluded, middle of nowhere. Located in the Crockett National Forest. Honor pay to enter. Large lake, RV sites, pavilions, nice restrooms, plenty of picnic areas, and lots of room for outdoor activities like horseshoes, volleyball, Frisbee, grilling, etc. There is even a gathering area with seating and a podium.

Was kinda dissapointed by the swim area being grown up an kinda dry but the walking trails were all pretty nice and theres plenty of them to choose from out there think I read there like 15-20 miles worth of trails out there but with this heat we could only do about 3 miles worth of walking but wasn't crowded and had beautiful scenery as well...
