Very nice walking trail that is right next to the lake. It is just a short walk from the parking lot to get to the lake view. It was well maintained when I went this past weekend and it had plenty of good views with all of the wildflowers. It was pretty muddy from the recent rain, but I will be back again soon when it warms up and dries out.

Very clearly uncared for. The trail was completely flooded in multiple sections, forcing me to cut my trip short. There is plastic trash left everywhere, and the trail is right next to people's backyards. The sidewalk is probably more well maintained and is about as much of a nature getaway as the Lakeshore Trail. Avoid at all costs.

Our new favorite park. Love the walking trail and the beautiful lake. Everyone was nice and friendly. Not crazy busy or packed like many other parks. Clean and dog friendly.

It's a nice 4 mile long trail, along lake Lewisville. There are multiple access points to this trail from different parts of The Colony. If you start from the trailhead at Stewart Park, the trail is bordered by the lake on one side, and large backyards of houses on the other side (the trail is reasonably away from the houses). You can also ride your bike here. I could not find any restroom at the parking in the trailhead, and along the first one mile. There was a drinking water fountain at the parking, but none along the first one mile. There's a sun dial near the parking, which I thought was pretty cool; you can stand on it and find out the time with...
