Schomaker Farms — Attraction in Thomas Township

I went there for the first time a couple days ago. Just went for eggs real quick. I went back a couple days later because I was really impressed.

They have a playground, sandbox, various toys for young children. My girl is 18 months and had a good time playing. My son is 9 and loved seeing the chickens, ducks, lambs and pigs. As for me.. I was so busy picking out all kinds of stuff. They have peaches, garlic, eggs, green beans, different kinds of peppers, tomatoes, they even have baskets of tomatoes for the sauce makers out there and much more.

The syrup... I have bought "homemade syrup " that really seemed like syrup from the grocery store that was re bottled. But the syrup from this place is definitely genuine. I've never had anything like it. It's definitely fresh. I rushed home to make the most boring pancakes I could manage to really see how the taste was (no strawberries, blackberries, blueberries). Pure. We normally never, ever, ever eat syrup at all because it's just not real syrup and we eat whole foods. So my son was extremely excited that I just dumped a bunch on his food LOL

I even met the owner (wife) and she was so happy to tell me about anything I asked about.

Seriously cool place and I'm so glad to have found it!!

They also sell lambs for meat! Get on the list because everyone wants one. I'm going to be signing up...

Wonderful couple providing farm fresh produce. When I asked when eggs were laid, I was told "yesterday." Honey and maple syrup were from the farm. I am looking forward to the fresh produce this spring and summer. Totally impressed either this couple and am happy I found them. Eggs were delicious and had "plump" yokes. Honey is wild, and you can taste the difference. I have not yet...
